The BRAHMS STUDIES

The Hamburg Johannes-Brahms-Association has published the series BRAHMS STUDIEN since 1974. A forum for national and international Brahms research, the series publishes scientific contributions such as biographical investigations, musicological analysis and the historical accounts of Brahms’ life and cultural legacy. In addition the BRAHMS STUDIEN discuss the current treatment of Brahms in terms of editorial and interpretive questions. The series addresses both Brahms researchers as well as musicians and general readers.

From Volume 16 to Vol. 19 the editors and publishers were Prof. Dr. Beatrix Borchard and Dr. Kerstin Schüssler-Bach.

Writers wishing to publish an academic contribution are kindly requested to contact the Johannes-Brahms-Association.

Volumes 1-17 of the BRAHMS STUDIEN are available from the Johannes-Brahms-Association at a price of € 10.- per volume. Volume 18 is available for 25,00 and Volume 19 for € 34,50. On request we offer copies of the no longer available volumes at the charge of € 1,00 per photocopy (each covering two pages), plus postage.
